London - A Swiss oil, petroleum and mining company is using Danwood EDM Professional, powered by ESL's DocumentMan technology, to store and retrieve documents of various types throughout their London office, ranging from purchase invoices and general correspondence to sales and marketing documents. The system integrates with the Corporate Database so that documents can be retrieved from within the existing database system, with Danwood EDM sitting behind it on its own MS SQL server. This integration means that users do not feel they are having to use two systems to find information, and the company are in fact adding value to an existing IT investment while extending its use and benefit across the company. |
